Tough
Questions. . .
- Is
there something more than what we can see around
us?
- What
is the meaning or purpose of life?
- What
do I do when church means nothing to me...or I no longer
share the beliefs of my religion?
- Can
I connect with Divine Love, really?
- Can
I learn to perceive Spirit's guidance in my life?
- Are
Angels real? Is there really a God?
Sometimes
we must deal with the hard questions. When such questions
are heavy on your heart, it can feel as though you are alone
in your search for greater meaning and joy in life.
You are
not alone, and a Spiritual Guide can be of great help by
offering guidance, suggesting practices to lead you to
answers, and by listening and assisting you on your journey.

Kindred Spirit Circles...
The
Need to Feed our Spirit...
Many
of us walk through our daily lives feeling as though
something is missing; something that we can't quite
put our finger on. We are happy enough... we have what
we need to sustain our busy lives ...we have people
who love us... but there is a longing in our hearts
that we can't quite name.
Sometimes the
longing is answered when we see a beautiful sunset.
Sometimes it is satisfied as we hear a familiar hymn.
Sometimes it happens when we receive a kindness... or
enjoy our garden... or watch a lake... or spend quiet
moments with a cup of tea. In these timeless moments,
we are filled with a sweetness, with a sense of
infinite love and connection. And our hearts feel full
and satisfied. We are pulled out of the mundane into a
place where all feels possible and
awesome.
This
is a yearning that we all share, a pull to connect
with something greater, something bigger... with Love
and Light, Divinity, God, Goddess, however or whoever
that is for you in your spiritual journey. Many people
find connection at places of worship, but for many,
organized religion is not a happy experience. For all
the good that religious communities bring to our
lives, they are still institutions and not everyone
can find contentment or a comfortable place in the
pew. And for many who do attend a church, temple, or a
mosque there is still a inner prompting to feed their
spirit outside the community.
For those who
are searching and yearning for connection to God, know
that when you ask, you will receive, and if you seek
you will find, and be found, by Love.
Where to
Start?
There
are many ways to connect to Divinity. Taking time to
pray, meditate, and read inspired writings and stories by
yourself or with a group of people will bring you into
the presence of Love. Taking time through the day to give
thanks and feel gratitude for your blessings also
heightens your awareness of divinity and feeds your
spirit.
Moving through
the day grounded in gratitude and peace attracts more
good into your life. As you welcome these added
blessings, your thanks bring ever more good into your
life. This beautiful cycle of gratitude followed by
blessing and new gratitude creates the spirit of joy
which spills over to everyone you meet. It is one way
Divinity works in and through each of us, reminding us
that we are blessed to be blessings.
