Deborah is a gentle dialogue that explores your
questions and obstacles in a friendly and accepting
environment. Any issue, lesson or challenge in our
life involves our Spiritual Path, and our growth as a
spiritual being. Finding the balance between our
logical mind and our Spirit is essential for our
journey into wholeness and happiness.
We
might call it Intuitive
Counselling,
because the session is guided by Spirit as much as it
is by Deb's wisdom. She has 20 years experience as
priest and pastor, but hey, she also works with
angels... so she is affirming of your own unique
journey and open to insights that come from our angels
and guides.
Because
each session is structured within the spirituality of
the client, those who are looking for spiritual
direction will find in Deborah a wise and
compassionate spiritual director with over twenty
years of pastoral experience.
In
the time together, answers come, clarification and
affirmation is received, and next steps are
understood.
Sessions
with Deborah are 60 minutes in length, the fee for
which is $100. Weekend and evening sessions can be
accommodated. Phone sessions can also be arranged.

A safe place to lay
down the burdens of your heart....
There are times
when life gets challenging and answers don't come
easily. After 20 years in parish ministry, Deb has
heard stories from people of diverse backgrounds and
cultures. She has heard stories of people struggling
with crises of faith or understandings of their
sexuality; those who have had experiences that still
leave them feeling guilt or shame; those who have been
deeply hurt by the people and institutions entrusted
with their care.
People hesitate to
share these stories. They bring up old pain,
certainly. Often, loved ones find it hard to hear
them. Sharing may seem merely to be a transferring of
burden, a burden no one wants to cast onto a loved
one's shoulder.
That's where
Sanctuary comes in. Webster's defines Sanctuary as "a
consecrated place, a place of refuge and protection"
and that is what you are offered.
Sanctuary is the
place to break through the blocks, get some clarity,
and strategize. As a priest used to hearing
confessions, Deborah holds confidentiality as a sacred
gift. For those who have been holding their pain deep
within their hearts, the compassion and affirmation
they receive are miraculously freeing and
healing.
Here in the cosy
comfort of our little cottage in Niagara-on-the-Lake,
you will find a place to vent, to unpack circumstances
that are causing concern and share your journey with
someone who understands. And, in this place of
Sanctuary we create a holy space where refreshment,
affirmation and clarity can be found and total
confidentiality is assured.
After the session
with Deborah, you may consider carving out some time
to feed your spirit by exploring the beauty of the
Niagara region. Go for a drive along the Niagara
Parkway. Spend time in quiet reflection beside the
river. Or take a well-deserved play day and visit the
area's great attractions, including world-class
wineries and nearby Niagara Falls. We can also
recommend some tranquil B&Bs that offer a
wonderful respite and a restorative time
away.
For those who live
at a distance, Deborah offers telephone sessions in
the comfort of your own sacred space.
All sessions are
one hour in length, the fee for which is $100. Follow
up visits or phone calls may be arranged at $50 per

Therapeutic
Touch and Energy Treatments
Therapeutic
Touch has been around since the 1930s and in the
last 15 years has gained recognition by the
medical and scientific worlds as having many
beneficial applications. TT is being taught
world-wide in hospitals to staff and is gaining
popularity among non-medical types.
While
the name suggests touch, the treatment is
actually hands-off, with the practitioner
working an inch or two over the surface of
the skin, smoothing and balancing the
client's energy field. It is gentle and
non-invasive, with no need for the client to
disrobe, and can take place seated or on a
massage table, whatever is more comfortable
for the client.
Deb
has been a practitioner of Therapeutic Touch
for more than 16 years. Because of her
interest in the Laying on of Hands and
healing work, it is a natural extension of
her skill. Each session is approximately a
half-hour in length and is a wonderfully
relaxing and healing treatment in a quiet and
calm environment.
Deborah's
fee for a basic session is $60.
To enhance the treatment, a guided
visualization/meditation to effect even
deeper healing benefits can be included
for an additional $25.
Some
weekends and evenings can be accomodated.
